In social studies these past couple of weeks we have been working on our future and deciding what
we wanna do and be when we are older. We were given a booklet with heaps of different activities
relating to our future. The very first activity we had to complete was a word match. This is where you
match words with the definition for example budget would connect with a plan that shows the time or
money you have and how you will spend it. The next activity we did was true and false. This is where
you get asked a question and decide whether or not it is true or false. We then chose whether or not
certain jobs are for men or women. I chose both for every job. We did another activity where we
chose where we would like to live. I chose the countryside where there are a lot of activities and a
river nearby. We had to choose what type of houses and car we wanted. I wanted to build my own
house and walk everywhere. The next activity we had to complete was how I'd like to spend my
spare time and plan our dream holiday. After we finished all of these activities we had to add up our
total and figure out how much we really make in a month My job was a architectural technicians and
you can make 75,000 a year so if you were to divide that by 12 you will find how much you make a
month, I would make 6,250 a month without paying taxes and stuff but after I pay all my stuff off a
month I would really get around 1,800 a month.
