Moving To Another Country

In social studies we are learning about other countries and what it would be like if we did move to another country. My friends and I chose china. I have learnt that the population in china is 1.398 billion. This topic is like our last about where our tupana migrated from. It helps learning about other countries because you can learn about new things and you might like to move there in the future. My overall view on this topic is it was very helpful just in case I might like to move there in the future.

What Really Happened

In social studies last term we had to watch episodes about what really happened during the signing of the treaty. There were 7 parts we had to go through. I thought it was cool how the British gave Maori blankets and tobacco. One thing I thought was thoughtful was how William hobson said the comment ‘he nga iwi tahi tatou’ (we are all one people) It was really fun learning about what really happened during the signing of the treaty we learnt a lot about how it was back in the days. We also learnt about what they wore  and put up with during the 1800. What do you know about the signing of the treaty?
