Migrations

Kia ora bloggers, in social studies this week we have been learning about migration. 

Whaea gave us a task to learn about our ancestors and where they migrated from. I

have learnt that one of my great grandparents used to be an engineer in the 1900s.

This week's work has been really interesting and fun. This work helps me learn about myself

and where I come from. I have found this week and last week's work really helpful because

I have learnt a lot more about my family.

My grandparents used to live in Auckland and they migrated to mangonui.

My nan is originally from whakatane then she moved up to auckland and then she moved to mangonui with her husband

When my nan was younger they got brought up from her older brother mark.

They migrated from england to new zealand on a boat

English

Romana used to be an engineer during ww1 or 2.
