What Really Happened

In social studies last term we had to watch episodes about what really happened during the signing of the treaty. There were 7 parts we had to go through. I thought it was cool how the British gave Maori blankets and tobacco. One thing I thought was thoughtful was how William hobson said the comment ‘he nga iwi tahi tatou’ (we are all one people) It was really fun learning about what really happened during the signing of the treaty we learnt a lot about how it was back in the days. We also learnt about what they wore  and put up with during the 1800. What do you know about the signing of the treaty?
